The cabinet meeting held in Singh Durbar on Wednesday expelled Sushil Gyawali from his post and appointed Dr. Govinda Pokharel as the new Chief Executive Officer of National Reconstruction Authority (NRA). Dr. Pokharel is the former National Planning Commission Vice Chairman and has already served as the executive director of the state-owned Alternative Energy Promotion Centre.
